computer replacement 02 jetta with 908p ?

customer came in with a 02 jetta gls 2.0 with no throttle response we found a shorted o-2 sensor which were pretty sure took out the computer causing the no throttle response so we have another computer same year numbers match- haven't tried plugging it in yet but I'm pretty sure we will get a no start due to the immobilizer any body out there have any words of wisdom on how to go about this with the 908p is it even possible? thanksTags: maxisys

You first need to get the coding from the old module, you will have to code the replacement to match exactly. Once that is done you should not have any problems and it should start. For reference use http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page -

Thanks for the feedback I couldn't figure it out so sent it to the v-w dealer but for future reference can this be done with the 908 pro and if so what steps do I take thanks again
